“Joey” the man who always wanted to help people either by building houses in Mexico or giving speeches to the Sacramento State Accounting students or helping his fellow colleagues. He had a heart and smile that would warm the soul. Once you met him you were now family. He was always smiling and telling jokes. Joe shared his abundance of knowledge about finance and investing. He would hold his grand-babies on his lap and tell them how the stock-market was doing that day. He always tried to make life fun for everyone around him.

In 2015 Joe married the love of his life, Irene. Together they had a blended family. Joe had two daughters, Christy Villa (Jim) and Catherine Jauregui (Brandon). He had four stepchildr­en, Zealand Hatch (Anna), Peter Hatch, Christine Ryan (Brett) and Stephanie Hatch. He loved being a Father and Grandfathe­r. His ten grandchild­ren adored “Ba” or “Grandpa Joey”.

Joseph is the son of Juan and Ofelia Aguilar (deceased), Brothers: Mark (deceased), Tuti and Ernie (Ricki) and and Sister: Josie (Albert).

Joe graduated from Alta Loma High School. He was the Student Body President. He went to Boys State. He was Captain of the wrestling team. Joe was the Student Representa­tive to the School Board in 1976. He received scholarshi­ps to the University of Santa Clara, University of La Verne and USC. Joe graduated from the University of La Verne Cum Laude with Honors 1980, Scholar 1978.

Joe will be greatly missed by his friends and colleagues at Eide Bailly and VTD where he was a Partner for twenty-seven years.

Funeral Details: May 19th - Viewing - 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM; Rosary - 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Richardson Peterson Funeral Home, 123 West G Street, Ontario, CA 91762.

May 20th - Funeral - 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 877 North Campus Avenue, Upland, CA 91786.
