Vacation Bible School: House of
God Lutheran Church offers “God’s Wonder Lab” Vacation Bible School 9 a.m.-noon June 20-24 at the church, 28909Base Line St., Highland, and 9 a.m.-noon July 18-22at Central City Lutheran Mission, 1354 N. G St., San Bernardino. At both sessions, children ages 6-10will conduct science experiments that seem impossible and learn the science behind the experiments. Touch-a-Truck: The Rotary Club of Redlands presents its eighth Toucha-Truck event 9a.m.-2p.m. June 11 in the parking lot of the University of Redlands Ted Runner Stadium. The event begins with a “quiet hour” 9-10 a.m. Tickets are $5for age 3and older and free for children younger than 3. A family ticket for up to six people is $20, and active-duty military families of up to six people are admitted free with ID or uniform. Tickets are available at redlandstouchatruck.com and at the event.
Hunger Walk: Family Service Association of Redlands holds its annual Redlands Hunger Walk June 4on the campus of the University of Redlands. Event begins with a pancake breakfast at 7a.m., followed by 5K walk at 8a.m. Registration is $35for adults and $10 for children 12 and younger, available at redlandsfamilyservice.org. Registration is also available beginning at 7a.m. the day of the walk, but to be sure to receive an event T-shirt, participants should register by May 24.

Community theater: LifeHouse Theater presents its musical adaptation of “Pride and Prejudice,” based on the novel by Jane Austen, 7p.m. at 1135N. Church St., Redlands. Redlands Republican Women’s Club: Brian Sylva, a trustee of the
Mt. San Jacinto College District, will discuss ballot propositions when the Redlands Republican Women’s Club meets 11:30a.m.-1:30p.m. at the Redlands Country Club, 1749Garden St. Lunch reservations were due by May 18, but those who attend only the program do not need reservations.

Community health fair: The Nehemiah Charitable Fund hosts a community health fair 10a.m.-2p.m. in the parking lot at 255N. D St., San Bernardino. Event includes health screenings, information on health resources including COVID-19testing and vaccination and an opportunity drawing for Stater Bros. gift cards. Participants include San Bernardino County WIC, Option House, IEHP, Building Resilient Communities, IECAAC and other agencies that provide health education services, housing referrals and more.
