ELIZABETH MARY WALSH

September 1, 1936 - March 10, 2022

Elizabeth, age 85, passed away on March 10, 2022 in Costa Mesa, CA. She resided most of her adult years in Chino and Upland, CA. She is survived by her sibling Margaret Palmer; her adult children, John Walsh, Mary Campbell, Michael Walsh, Kevin Walsh and Katie Ponce; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Hindman, Sarah Ponce, Clare Ryan, Marie Ponce, Hannah Ponce and great grandchildren, Quin Hindman and Isla Hindman. Elizabeth, known as Betty for short, was born as the fifth child to John and Josephine Weir in Bangor, Northern Ireland and the family moved to Fullerton, CA in 1946. Her predeceased siblings are Johnny Weir, Nancy McGuire and Brendan Weir. She and her former husband, Charlie Walsh, raised their kids in Chino, California. She resided in Upland, CA the last 34 years close to her children and grandchildren. She had a beautiful smile and an infectious laugh and enjoyed the simple blessings of fun and laughter with her family. She will be terribly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A service will be held at Brethren in Christ Church, 845 W. Arrow Hwy in Upland, CA on Saturday, May 28 at 2:00 p.m.
