Teaching that we all belong to the human race

-

There is only the human race, our skin pigment is easily mutable and does not define our species. The DNA of England’s oldest complete skeleton, 11,000 year old Cheddar man, showed he sported dark skin and light eyes. During the 19th and 20th centuries the Irish and the Italians were not considered White. My neighbor, an avid churchgoer, recently mentioned that I was a member of the “Hebrew” race. I was shocked, amused and offended all at once. Why would a modern American even think such a thing? Defining people by their skin color, national origin, religion, etc. is absurd and must be recognized as a national weakness and replaced by science.
