Noteworthy: GravesBlanks claimed the 110-meter hurdles title at the CIF Southern Section Masters Meet. He crossed the line in a wind-legal time of 13.75 seconds, 0.29seconds faster than the next finisher. Graves-Blanks will be among the favorites to win the event at the CIF State Championships this weekend at Buchanan High School in Clovis. He placed second in the 300hurdles (personal-best time of 37.74) and also ran a leg on Upland’s 400 relay team that finished third (41.76).

Noteworthy: Carr cleared the bases with a long single to center field with one out in the bottom of the seventh inning as the Mustangs rallied to beat Los Alamitos 5-4 in the CIF Southern Section Division 1 championship game. Carr’s hit capped a four-run inning by Roosevelt, which trailed 4-1 entering the final inning. It was Carr’s third walk-off winner in eight games. She hit a two-run home run against Centennial on April 25, and her sacrifice fly that lifted the Mustangs to a 7-6 win over Garden Grove Pacifica in the Division 1quarterfinals
