Fireworks and parades set through summer
Fans of Disneyland fireworks will get to see five different pyrotechnic shows between now and the end of summer as the Anaheim theme park rolls out a familiar and somewhat complex lineup of nighttime entertainment for the first half of 2024.
Disneyland will host the “Believe in Holiday Magic,” “Mickey’s Mix Magic,” “Together Forever,” “Wondrous Journeys” and “Star Wars”-themed fireworks shows over the next nine months.
You’ll need to break out a calendar to keep track of all the fireworks shows coming and going. Here’s the breakdown of the schedule.
• “Believe in Holiday Magic” runs through Sunday, when the holiday season ends at the Disneyland Resort.
• “Mickey’s Mix Magic” runs Monday through March 21.
• “Wondrous Journeys” takes to the skies March 22 through April 14, with nightly fireworks throughout the run.
• “Mickey’s Mix Magic” returns April 1525 for a second brief run.
• “Together Forever” runs April 26 through Aug. 24 as part of Pixar Fest.
“Mickey’s Mix Magic” and “Together Forever” will have fireworks on select nights and run in projection-only mode at other times.
A galactic soundtrack featuring “Star Wars” music will be played in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge during fireworks shows as part of the Season of the Force seasonal event, which runs April 5 through June 2.
There technically will be three different fireworks shows tied to the “Star Wars” soundtracks — resulting in slightly different intergalactic experiences, depending on whether “Wondrous Journeys,” “Mickey’s Mix Magic” or “Together Forever” is playing.
Disneyland also will bring back the “Magic Happens” parade Feb. 2, with no end date announced.
A “Christmas Fantasy” parade runs through Sunday.
There are no plans for a Disneyland parade from Monday through Feb. 1.
The new “Better Together” parade runs April 26 through Aug. 4 at Disney California Adventure as part of Pixar Fest.
