Cedar House Life Change Center will hold its fifth annual Alumni Day event 11 a.m.-2 p.m. May 4 at its facility in Bloomington.

The community is welcome to attend the event that celebrates Cedar House graduates’ recovery.

Graduates, with their families and friends, will be at the event that includes food, entertainment, speakers, games, prizes and music, according to a news release.

There also will be a resource fair, with participants including San Bernardino Valley College, 211 Careers, Inland Empire Health Plan, Empowering Success Now, Balanced Life, SoCal Credit Union and Chaffey College.

Representatives from the office of Assembly Majority Leader Eloise Gomez Reyes and from the office of Supervisor Joe Baca Jr. will also attend and speak about Cedar House’s impact on the Inland Empire, according to the news release.

Robert Pardon, aka “The

Recovery Guy,” will be the keynote speaker, and three Cedar House graduates will tell their stories of success after completing the program.

The Cedar House graduate with the longest sobriety and the one who travels farthest to attend will receive prizes, and all the Cedar House alumni will be recognized with recovery medallions.

“We’re looking forward to another exciting Alumni Day. This is one of our favorite events of the year because we get the chance to celebrate the success our graduates have experienced since completing treatment with us at Cedar House,” Jamie Lamb, chief executive officer of Cedar House, said in the news release.
