Rick Romancito is editor of Tempo magazine, the arts and entertainment magazine of The Taos News.

A longtime employee of the hometown newspaper, Romancito has had a rich and varied career in a number of artistic pursuits. He's been a movie actor with the likes of John Wayne, Katharine Hepburn, Rock Hudson, Billy Dee Williams and Dean Martin; along with being an accomplished fine artist, writer and photographer. In his work as a journalist, Romancito has covered the arts, Native American issues, veterans and, on occasion, breaking news for The Taos News, and earning numerous awards from the New Mexico Press Association. He is of Taos and Zuni Pueblo heritage and lives in Taos with his wife Melody, two dogs and a cat while also proudly watching over his daughter Ella, her boyfriend Viento and granddaughter Layla.
