Charter cheer

In April, Roots and Wings Community School was honored at the state Public Education Commission meeting under “Highlights and Recognitions” for strategically and authentically striving to meet its mission. The charter was also chosen as a case study school from about 800 rural charter schools by the Bellwether Education Partners in Washington, D.C., for academic rigor and achievement in an economically diverse region.
