Blake hotel reopens at Taos Ski Valley

The Blake at Taos Ski Valley reopened for business June 13, after a short break following the 2017-2018 winter season. The onsite restaurant 192, and the Spa and Wellness Center also reopened.

“We are excited to reopen and continue making memories with our guests,” said Eduardo Sampere, hotel manager at The Blake. “Nestled in a beautiful section of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, The Blake is an ideal location for people to stay at while they explore all the amazing things that Taos has to offer.”

The 80-room slope-side hotel opened in February 2017. Management includes Lauryn Mangat, guest services manager, and Patrick Gharrity, head chef at 192.

Gharrity, the former executive chef at La Case Sena in Santa Fe for 11 years, said he’s excited about the reopening. Over the break, he worked on crafting a seasonal menu to deliver internationally inspired dining as well as a unique cocktail and wine menu.
