-

Early voting is underway at the Taos County Administrative Complex, located at Paseo del Pueblo Sur and Albright Street in Taos, Mondays through Fridays, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The complex will also be open Saturday (Nov. 3), the final day of early voting.

Three alternative early voting sites around Taos County are open Tuesdays through Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Those sites are the Old Armory on Blueberry Hill Road in Taos, the Questa Municipal Hall and the Peñasco Community Center. The last day of early voting is Saturday (Nov. 3).

Registered voters can cast a ballot at any early voting site. On Election Day, voters have to cast a ballot at their individual precinct.

As of Wednesday afternoon (Oct. 31), the Secretary of State reports 6,760 Taos County residents have voted. If you’re not among them, vote early or make your way to the polls Tuesday (Nov. 6).
