Nov. 21

7:15 a.m. Wel­fare check, All­sup’s (north) – A blonde woman in her mid-thir­ties was over­heard talk­ing about scor­ing a bag of heroin. An of­fi­cer who ar­rived at the scene learned from the caller that the woman had left in a ve­hi­cle.

7:41 a.m. Bur­glary au­to­mo­bile, Kachina Lodge – A caller said his ve­hi­cle had been bro­ken into. He said his .357 Mag­num and all of his pro­ba­tion of­fi­cer gear had been stolen.

10:04 a.m. Sus­pi­cious cir­cum­stance, Taos Eco Park – A caller said some peo­ple were strip­ping a white 4Run­ner.

12:38 p.m. An­i­mal stray, Mon­dragon Lane – A caller said her neigh­bor has a pit bull that tried to at­tack her.

2:35 p.m. In­for­ma­tion re­port, Enos Gar­cia El­e­men­tary – A caller said some peo­ple were try­ing to get into the gym.

6:39 p.m. Tres­pass­ing, Salazar Road – A woman at Com­mu­nity Against Vi­o­lence was de­mand­ing shel­ter, but the or­ga­ni­za­tion didn’t have room for her and had ques­tions about her men­tal state.

Nov. 22

12:54 a.m. Law, un­known prob­lem, Wal­mart – A woman in the re­stroom was say­ing that she was in dan­ger.

11:10 a.m. Break­ing and en­ter­ing, Mon­dragon Lane – A caller said some­one was break­ing into a build­ing in the area, but a re­spond­ing of­fi­cer walked around the area and de­ter­mined that the build­ing was se­cure.

1:10 p.m. Wel­fare check, Paseo del Cañon East – A caller said a drunk man was hang­ing out the win­dow of a sil­ver Jeep parked by Camino del Colores.

1:44 p.m. Larceny, Maria Luisa – A caller said some­one had been un­lock­ing his fence and let­ting his dogs out. He said he kept find­ing the dogs at Stray Hearts.

3:04 p.m. Wel­fare check, Wal­mart – A man who ap­peared to be un­der the in­flu­ence of some­thing was sit­ting in a shop­ping cart near the store’s en­trance.

3:32 p.m. Law, un­known prob­lem, Paseo del Pue­blo Norte – A brand new bank bag was in the front yard.

5:48 p.m. Law, un­known prob­lem, Cor­doba Lane – A man said an in­tox­i­cated per­son was try­ing to get into his house.

8:10 p.m. An­i­mal stray, Weimer Road – A caller said a golden lab looked like it had been shot across the street. An an­i­mal con­trol of­fi­cer found the dog dead when they ar­rived.

Nov. 23

7:29 a.m. Wel­fare check, Taos Plaza – A caller said a woman in a blue puffy jacket and black cap was yelling at peo­ple.

9:31 a.m. Law, un­known prob­lem, Paseo del Pue­blo Sur – A caller said he re­ceived a coun­ter­feit bill and wanted to speak to an of­fi­cer about it.

10:24 a.m. Law, un­known prob­lem, Su­per Save – Two women were threat­en­ing to fight each other.

1:12 p.m. Law, un­known prob­lem, New Mex­ico Chil­dren, Youth and Fam­i­lies De­part­ment – A caller said she got into an ar­gu­ment with her boyfriend who threw her med­i­ca­tion out the win­dow of their ve­hi­cle.

1:39 p.m. Wel­fare check, Wal­greens – A caller said a woman who ap­peared to be men­tally ill was in the area.

2:12 p.m. Util­ity prob­lem, Gear­ing Up Bi­cy­cle Shop – A caller said a man­hole had been opened up on the side­walk.

3:42 p.m. Wel­fare check, Guadala­jara Grill (north) – A caller said the driver of a white older model Chevy truck was driv­ing on and off the road­way.

5:20 p.m. Wel­fare check, Bent Street – A caller said they no­ticed a man who had been sit­ting on a bench near the gate­way to Sta­bles Art Gallery for over an hour.

Nov. 24

10:25 a.m. Tres­pass­ing, Sta­tion

316 Cafe – A caller said a woman was sleep­ing in a ve­hi­cle with Ore­gon li­cense plates and wanted her re­moved from the area.

10:49 a.m. As­sault, Smith’s – A caller said a fight was go­ing on in the back park­ing lot.

1:17 p.m. Miss­ing ju­ve­nile, DreamTree Pro­ject – A caller said a girl last seen wear­ing jeans and a red shirt had gone miss­ing.

3:12 p.m. Crim­i­nal dam­age, Kachina Lodge – A caller said a guest jumped out at her as she was leav­ing the em­ployee area and broke a glass win­dow on a door.

7:19 p.m. Sick per­son, El Taoseño – A man in front of the build­ing said he felt like he was go­ing to die. He be­lieved he was hav­ing a seizure.

8:02 p.m. Med­i­cal un­known, Latilla Lane – A caller said her brother had taken some­thing and was vom­it­ing and as­pi­rat­ing.

8:49 p.m. Wel­fare check, Gus­dorf Road – A caller said some­one was in a shop­ping cart and wasn’t mov­ing. They said they were go­ing to go down to check on them to see if they were OK.

10:26 p.m. Shots fired, Taos Val­ley RV Park – A caller said sev­eral shots had been fired near Ruby Du Lane.

10:44 p.m. Wel­fare check, Taos Eco Park – A woman who was sleep­ing on some blan­kets in­side one of the bath­rooms was re­fus­ing to leave.

Nov. 25

12:14 p.m. Sex of­fense adult, Cruz Alta Road – A caller said a woman was talk­ing about sui­cide and said she had been raped in her ve­hi­cle the night be­fore.

2:16 p.m. Miss­ing ju­ve­nile, DreamTree Pro­ject – A miss­ing ju­ve­nile re­turned to the prop­erty.

3:26 p.m. As­sault, Plaza Road – A caller said a man in a black Cadil­lac got out and was beat­ing up a home­less man.

3:35 p.m. Crim­i­nal dam­age, John Dunn House Shops – A caller said that a man went up to his blue Hyundai Sonata and slashed his tire.

4:15 p.m. Med­i­cal un­known, Smith’s – A man who had been in­volved in a fight fell and hit his head.

7:19 p.m. Wel­fare check, Gus­dorf Place – A caller said an el­derly man was in the care of two in­di­vid­u­als who were not pro­vid­ing him with money or food and had drugs “all over the place” at their res­i­dence.

9:25 p.m. Law, un­known prob­lem, IHOP – A caller said a drunk man had fallen asleep in the restau­rant’s bath­room.

Nov. 26

7:33 a.m. Ha­rass­ment, Taos High School – A caller said his friend was afraid to get out of her ve­hi­cle be­cause she thought some­one was fol­low­ing her.

8:42 a.m. Bur­glary com­mer­cial, El Pue­blo Lodge – A caller said some­one cut through their gate to get into the house­keep­ing and main­te­nance room some­time dur­ing the night.

9:48 a.m. Dis­turb­ing the peace, Taos Post Of­fice, 318 Paseo del Pue­blo Norte – A caller said a woman wear­ing a gray jacket was be­com­ing irate with staff.

10:30 a.m. Aban­doned ve­hi­cle, Ro­man Court – A caller said a gray com­pact was on the side of the road and ap­peared to have been in­volved in a crash.

10:50 a.m. Do­mes­tic dis­tur­bance, Gus­dorf Place – A caller said her boyfriend was try­ing to make her leave but had taken the keys to her car.

12:21 p.m. Traf­fic ac­ci­dent, in­jury, Gus­dorf Road – Two ve­hi­cles had crashed and a woman was bleed­ing from her head. Fluid and smoke was com­ing out of at least one of the ve­hi­cles.

12:54 p.m. Traf­fic haz­ard, Paseo del Cañon West – A caller said her ve­hi­cle had been struck with rocks thrown from an­other ve­hi­cle, which then fled the area.

1:29 p.m. Law, un­known prob­lem, Kachina Lodge – A caller said some in­di­vid­u­als had come into his of­fice de­mand­ing money they said he owed them.

2:03 p.m. Wel­fare check, Al­bert­sons – A man wear­ing a cam­ou­flage hoodie was car­ry­ing a ri­fle in a cam­ou­flage back­pack.

2:09 p.m. Wel­fare check, Gus­dorf Road – A caller said they had seen a 5-year-old girl walk­ing by her­self to Wal­greens.

2:09 p.m. Shoplift­ing, Paseo del Pue­blo Sur – A caller said a woman had shoplifted a bag of mer­chan­dise but dropped it on her way out.

3:22 p.m. In­for­ma­tion re­port, Paseo del Pue­blo Sur – A 27-yearold man was found un­con­scious near Bud’s Cut Flow­ers af­ter an ap­par­ent over­dose. Medics re­vived him with Nar­can and then took him to Holy Cross Hos­pi­tal.

5:56 p.m. An­i­mal stray, Loma Parda Apart­ments – A caller said a pit bull had fol­lowed her home and into her apart­ment.

6:18 p.m. Al­co­hol of­fense adult, Taos Men’s Shel­ter – A man was found very in­tox­i­cated and pos­si­bly high on an un­known sub­stance in the bunk room.
