Age 43, died in Santa Fe on Novem­ber 7, 2018, a man whose hu­man­ity, per­sonal warmth and ex­traor­di­nary gifts touched many. Although his days on earth were lim­ited he was loved by vir­tu­ally ! "sense of ap­pro­pri­ate­ness was pro­found, whether it in­volved what he called “the squint test” in as­sess­ing an ar­chi­tec­tural struc­ture or his di­rect in­ter­ac­tions with other peo­ple.

# $ $ % (Fall/Win­ter 2017) state: “Raised in Ft. Worth, Texas, Lemons went on to Vir­ginia Tech where he dis­cov­ered his “tribe” and earned a Masters de­gree in ar­chi­tec­ture. Fol­low­ing grad­u­a­tion, ' * +< = < $ < < ><< * ? $ $ @ * ' = ! ! $ " ed to see a de­sign vi­sion through from ‘day one to day end.’ In 2013 he set out on his own.” At that time he moved to Ar­royo Seco, NM where he ini­ti­ated his own prac­tice. Four houses he re­cently de­signed in the Taos area stand as tes­ta­ment to his ! $ pen­dently. Rye leaves be­hind his par­ents, Reed and Pa­tri­cia ' E = G E $ < chil­dren; his ma­ter­nal grand­mother, Phyl­lis Hed­strom; his part­ner Rod­ney Boren; and friends of many years Jolie Jones ' * $ $ ! touched will for­ever re­mem­ber the beauty, vi­tal­ity and depth $
