The following is a condensed version of Taos Police reports from Dec. 12-17.

Dec. 12

3:46 a.m. Trespassin­g, Shell, 1137 Paseo del Pueblo Sur – A homeless woman was sleeping in the store, and her boyfriend was in the restroom. They refused to leave.

7:44 a.m. Public affray, Taos Middle School – Two girls were fighting in the principal’s office.

10:16 a.m. Criminal damage, John Dunn Shops – A caller said the bathrooms at the shops were being vandalized.

1:06 p.m. Assault, Zekes Auto Supply – A caller said he got into a road rage incident with someone who pulled a gun on him. He said he then pulled his own gun and had it on his lap.

3:14 p.m. Public affray, Kachina Lodge – A caller said she got into an argument with the supervisor about the hotel’s pet fee.

7:34 p.m. Law, unknown problem, Super 8 – A woman called 911 to say that her husband had been murdered. Upon investigat­ion, police learned that the call was not accurate and that the caller was having some kind of mental issue.

Dec. 13

8:55 a.m. Larceny, Tierra Montosa Apartments – A caller said someone had broken in and stolen some checks that had since been cashed.

9:36 a.m. Traffic accident, no injury, Albertsons – A caller said someone had hit her vehicle in the parking lot and then left. Someone else gave her the driver’s informatio­n.

10:59 a.m. Fraud-forgery, Dry Creek Road – A caller said they had given $1,250 in Google Play cards to a caller at a Florida phone number, who had contacted them to say they worked for the IRS. The suspect had threatened the caller with jail time if they did not pay.

1:28 p.m. Juvenile problem, Butterfly Road – A caller said that a girl ran away from the area about an hour ago. They said the girl was last seen at DreamTree Project.

1:41 p.m. Welfare check, Salazar Road – A caller said a woman selling newspapers was in the roadway and might get hit.

3:56 p.m. Harassment, Siler Road – A caller said a man had been stalking her and watching her at night.

4:12 p.m. Trespassin­g, Paseo del Pueblo Sur – A caller said that two men were under the bridge near Sonic who needed to be removed.

6:41 p.m. Fraud-forgery, Sonic – A caller said they received a $100 bill from a customer who left in a silver four-door car.

8:33 p.m. Welfare check, Kachina Lodge – A caller said that the “Tarzan guy” was back and wanted to have an officer check on him.

Dec. 14

8:43 a.m. Harassment, Taos Middle School – A caller said a girl was making serious threats to another girl online.

2:41 p.m. Informatio­n report, Taos Sanitary Supply – A caller said they were going to terminate an employee who had dropped an open package of Suboxone.

2:59 p.m. Informatio­n report, Little Bug Child Developmen­t Center – A caller said someone was planning to report a woman to CYFD and other agencies regarding child abuse.

9:15 p.m. Welfare check, Mary

Medina building – An officer said they had cleared the whole building but found one individual inside and advised them to leave the premises.

11:47 p.m. Suspicious

circumstan­ce, Dolan Street – A caller said his neighbor called him to say that a man had come to her door asking for a ride. The woman said she was scared and requested an officer.

Dec. 15

1:07 a.m. Domestic disturbanc­e, Vigil’s Trailer Park – A caller said her boyfriend was highly intoxicate­d and had pushed her.

1:42 p.m. Suspicious circumstan­ce, Smith’s – A caller said a man was at the tables who had a firearm.

3:05 p.m. Larceny, Paseo del Pueblo Sur – A caller said her Christmas ornaments had been taken from her business.

11:23 p.m. Shots fired, Kit Carson Road – A caller said there was a gunshot in the area.

Dec. 16

12:24 a.m. Trespassin­g, Quality Inn – A caller said someone in a room wasn’t supposed to be there and couldn’t be found in their computer system.

12:42 a.m. Fire, structure, State Highway 518 – A fire started in a two-story house with a wood stove. Firefighte­rs put out the fire by 2:50 a.m.

5:09 a.m. Agency assistance, State Road 111 – A corporal driving to work came across what appeared to be a routine crash, but then found bullet holes in a vehicle. He also found a rifle and a handgun at the side of the road.

7:38 a.m. Domestic disturbanc­e, Mariposa Apartments – A caller said a couple was arguing next to a red car by the office, and later said the man was beating up the woman and had her on the ground.

9:51 a.m. Burglary automobile, Las Cruces Road – A caller was sitting in their car when a man opened the door and grabbed a Ruger revolver off his passenger seat.

10:48 a.m. Criminal damage, Super Save – A caller said a man had come in and wanted to buy cigarettes. When the caller refused, he said the man broke a door.

5:56 p.m. Gas leak, Our Lady of Guadalupe Church – A caller said they could smell a strong odor of gas.

9:58 p.m. Domestic disturbanc­e, Cielo Azul – A caller said her boyfriend had piled her clothes against a door and broke her new phone and her glasses. She said he was armed with a weapon, either a .22-caliber rifle or a 9mm.

Dec. 17

2:21 p.m. Parking violation, Taos Plaza – A caller said a “big hippie psychedeli­c bus” was parked in the parking spaces at U.S. Bank and was blocking traffic.

5:17 p.m. Overdose, Cavalry Court – A caller said his wife had taken some medication and was breathing but not alert and wouldn’t wake up.

7:51 p.m. Suspicious circumstan­ce, Chevron – A man was high and hanging out near the gas station.

11:12 p.m. Medical unknown, Sagebrush Inn – A man had been hit by a vehicle and was bleeding from his head. The vehicle did not appear to be in the area.
