The following is a condensed version of Taos Police reports from Jan. 9-14.

Jan. 9

10:02 a.m. Shopliftin­g, Paseo del Pueblo Sur – A person was caught on camera shopliftin­g earlier in the morning.

12:08 p.m. Larceny, Dollar General – A man and a woman stole some clothing. The caller ran after them, but the pair fled in a tan pickup truck.

1:39 p.m. Harassment, Smith’s – A man was making threats to employees at the store because they would not sell him alcohol.

8:48 p.m. Assault, Storytelle­r 7 – A caller said someone was trying to start a fight with her in the theater after the movie was over. She said two other women were blocking the entrance to the theater and a manager had started yelling at her.

Jan. 10

12:08 a.m. Welfare check, Holy Cross Hospital – A caller said there were three intoxicate­d individual­s at the hospital.

4:18 a.m. Welfare check, Hotel Don Fernando – A caller said there was a suspicious looking man on a bicycle wearing a bandana.

11:24 a.m. Law, unknown problem, Paseo del Pueblo Norte – A caller said a customer was refusing to pay for her food.

12:45 p.m. Animal stray, Enos Garcia Elementary School – Some dogs wearing tags were hanging around the school.

4:23 p.m. Larceny, NailSpa de Taos – A caller said the staff at the salon had taken her coat. When she asked them about it, they denied it, but she said she was pretty sure the staff took her coat.

5:53 p.m. Trespassin­g, Civic

Plaza Drive – A drunk homeless man fell and hurt himself outside the old Taos Police station.

Jan. 11

8:25 a.m. Larceny, Walmart – A caller said someone had stolen the company tablet, but found it later in the day.

10:36 a.m. Taos Mesa Brewing Tap Room – A caller said a man was breathing but not waking up. The man eventually woke up and started talking.

Jan. 12

10:54 a.m. Theft of motor vehicle, Guadalupe Lane – A caller said his ex-girlfriend stole his car, a tan Hyundai Tucson.

11:49 a.m. Alarm commercial, Taos Public Library – A librarian set off the alarm at the library and called Taos Police department to notify them she was calling the alarm company.

12:31 p.m. Property found, Walmart – A caller said they went to the ATM and found a card on the floor. They were looking for the owner.

1:08 p.m. Unresponsi­ve, McDonald’s – A man was sitting in a chair and was breathing, but not waking up.

Jan. 13

6:32 a.m. Traffic accident, injury, Callejon Road – A green Chevy truck hauling a camper went off the road and landed face down in a ditch.

10:27 a.m. Narcotics offense adult, Taos Pizza Outback – A caller said a man parked in a white Toyota near the restaurant was shooting up.

11:47 a.m. Informatio­n report, Jaramillo Road – A caller said his neighbor’s dog had gone to his house and was fighting with his dog. He said there was blood all over his yard.

4:31 p.m. Unconsciou­s fainting, Gusdorf Road – A man was behind the high school lying on the sidewalk.

6:20 p.m. Larceny, Taos Mesa Brewing Taproom – A caller said a customer just had his bicycle stolen from right outside the taproom. He described it as a green KHS with “fat tires” on it and a black bag attached.

11:52 p.m. Missing adult, School Road – A caller said her husband was driving from Taos to Peñasco in a gold Venture van, but she hadn’t heard from him since 6 p.m. She was requesting patrols of that route to see if his vehicle was stranded.

Jan. 14

5:30 a.m. Suspicious circumstan­ce, Holy Cross Hospital – A caller said a man was trying to take a vehicle in the parking lot.

11:58 a.m. Animal stray, Fred Baca Park – A caller said a tan and white dog was running around the park. An animal control officer later came and picked the animal up to take it to Stray Hearts.

1:31 p.m. Battery, Human Services Department – A caller said a man was being abusive toward a member of the staff and had spit on her.

6:01 p.m. Burglary automobile, Walmart – A caller said someone stole his truck. He suspected that a Walmart employee took it.

6:49 p.m. On the lookout, Dollar General – A driver in a tan Blazer hit both barriers near the parking lot.

9:57 p.m. Concealing identity, El Cerrito Apartments – A caller said an irate neighbor was banging on her door.
