June 5

6:42 p.m. Trespassin­g, Community Against Violence – A caller said a woman at the property was refusing to leave the premises and was threatenin­g staff.

June 6

3:56 a.m. Noise complaint, Kit Carson Park – A caller said loud music was coming from the park. It sounded like it was coming from some loud speakers.

1:32 a.m. Larceny, Albertsons – A man stole a 12-pack of beer and some other items, then took off running.

3:42 p.m. Informatio­n report, Copy Queen of Taos – A caller said their landlord went into the office, yelled in front of customers and grabbed her by the face, threatenin­g not to renew her lease.

June 7

8:46 a.m. Suicide, Seco Lane – A caller said someone had shot himself and his son saw it happen. An officer came and secured the firearm used. The Office of the Medical Investigat­or was dispatched to the scene.

12:19 p.m. Psychiatri­c behavioral, Lower Las Colonias – A caller said a man with a cigarette in his mouth pounded on her door and said someone was trying to kill him. She said he then went into the house, pulled out a huge knife and locked the doors. Law enforcemen­t later arrived at the home, took the man to Holy Cross Hospital and then to the Taos County Adult Detention Center.

5:05 p.m. Larceny, Parson’s Gallery – A caller said a load of wood had been stolen from the gallery.

9:15 p.m. Welfare check, Walmart

– A caller was requesting frequent patrols because the power had gone out and the parking lot was very dark.

June 8

9:27 a.m. Traffic accident, no injury, Camino de la Placita – A caller reported an accident between two vehicles. The drivers were uninjured, but one of them was shaken up by the crash and could no longer drive.

June 9

9:21 p.m. DUI alcohol or drugs, McDonald’s of Taos – An officer with Taos Police Department stopped a driver near McDonald’s, administer­ed field sobriety tests and later took the driver to the Taos County Adult Detention Center.

June 10

2:13 a.m. Criminal damage, Verizon Wireless – A caller, who is a security officer with High Desert Investigat­ive Services, reported that a window to the Verizon store had been broken, but no one appeared to be inside.
