Paddle It in Eagle Nest Lake
Bring your paddleboard, canoe or kayak to race and have fun at Eagle Nest Lake State Park on Saturday-Sunday (June 22-23). Historical Park will host a viewing of the sunrise alignment at Casa Rinconada on Friday and Saturday (June 21-22) for the first 100 participants each day. The gates will open at 5:30 a.m. and the solar/lunar observation station. The actual phenomenon happens at approximately 7:50 a.m. and the presentation will wrap up about 8:30 a.m. There is an entrance fee.
