Taos Dems host presidenti­al candidate debate watch parties

Taos County Democrats are hosting a potluck and free live-cast of the first Democratic presidenti­al candidates debate June 26-27. The field is so packed that it takes two nights and this will be a chance for voters to hear the candidates make their pitches for why they should be the person to face down President Donald Trump in the 2020 presidenti­al race.

The event will be at the Taos County Democratic Party headquarte­rs on the corner of Cruz Alta and Paseo del Pueblo Sur.

Participan­ts are asked to bring a dish to share and their own drinks, a pillow and lawn chairs. Meal starts at 6:30 p.m. both nights and the live-cast on a big screen starts at 7 p.m.

Tim Ryan Elizabeth Warren Candidates debating each other Thursday (June 27) are:

Pete Buttigieg Kirsten Gillibrand Kamala Harris John Hickenloop­er Bernie Sanders Eric Swalwell Marianne Williamson Andrew Yang
