Check out the Albuquerque BioPark at the Taos Youth and Family Center
Albuquerque BioPark’s Discover the BioPark free outreach program will be at the Taos Youth and Family Center, 407 Paseo del Cañon East, from 1 to 3 p.m. on June 27. Visit with beautiful birds, small mammals, amazing amphibians and reptiles. People of all ages are encouraged to attend this free event.
Using bones, pelts, feathers, shells and other interesting animal items, zoo staff and volunteer teachers called docents will guide you through this traveling exhibit of animals and hands-on biofacts.
“Discover the BioPark is an interactive, fun program that provides a wealth of information about wildlife from misunderstood, feared predators to remarkable animal adaptations,” said Kathryn Venzor, BioPark education curator. “Zoo staff, docents and animal ambassadors highlight the importance of conservation and show how our actions matter in efforts to preserve nature.”
Discover the BioPark used to be called “Zoo to You.”
