Trinidad Medina

Age 97 from Vadito, NM, passed away from natural causes at Taos Living Center. She passed away peacefully with her family surrounding her. Trinidad (known as Trinie) was born on April 8, 1923. She was proceeded in death by her father, Alfredo and mother Trinidad Visarraga, grandfather, Lucas and grandmother, Teresita Romero, husband Clovis Medina, her son, Jerry Medina and her grandson, Chris Gonzalez. She lived a full and happy life with her husband Clovis for 45 years. She survived by her eldest daughter, Viola Lopez and husband Thomas, Bobby Medina and wife Onnie, Nancy Gonzalez, daughter-in-law, Ralefita Medina and Antonio Medina wife, Diane. Lopez husband Robert, Valerie Gonzales husband Michael, Brian Medina wife Rosio, Christy Gonzalez de Dominguez husband Joshua, Jason Medina and Feliz Medina. She has twelve great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Trinidad loved operating Vadito Bar and El Norteño. She also loved traveling, socializing, and most of all her family. Trinie had a very strong faith which she passed on to her children and grandchildren. Trinie was a lady of many talents; she was a baker, seamstress, painter, she did ceramics, and embroidery. She also enjoyed having a good traguito. The family wants to thank Española Hospice for all the care, prior to her moving into the Taos Living Center. They also want to thank the Taos Living Center for caring for her the last three and a half years. The Funeral Service will be held in Peñasco, NM at San Antonio de Padua Church on Thursday July 23, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be private only to the immediate family.
