OCT. 14

8:21 a.m. Theft of motor vehicle, Paseo del Cañón West – A caller said someone had stolen a truck belonging to a business in the area. 9:05 a.m. Suspicious circumstan­ces, Our Lady of Guadalupe Church – A caller said a campsite had been set up in the parking lot.

10 a.m. Animal bite, Fred Baca Park – A caller said his daughter had been bitten by a dog at Fred Baca Park. 4:07 p.m. Burglary residentia­l, Bella Vista Apartments – A caller said she had come home to find a door wide open and everything in her home thrown all over the place. 6:13 p.m. Welfare check, Del Norte

Lane – A caller said someone who tested positive for the coronaviru­s at the county jail was not answering their cellphone. The caller said this individual was still having fever and shortness of breath.

OCT. 15

5:43 a.m. Suspicious circumstan­ce,

Cordova Trailer Park – A caller said another man wearing pajama bottoms and no shirt came out of a trailer and pointed a pistol at him. 8:09 a.m. Disorderly conduct, Super Save – A caller said a man wearing black broke a window to the blue bus.

1:32 a.m. Trespassin­g, Herdner Road – A caller said some people were camping in the field nearby. 3:14 p.m. Criminal damage, Paseo del Pueblo Norte – A caller said someone had messed up his signs. 4:57 p.m. Theft of a motor vehicle, Laughing Horse Gallery – A caller said she wanted to report her moped stolen.

7:48 p.m. Assault, Laughing Horse Gallery – A caller said a man hit another man in the face with an object and knocked out a tooth.

OCT. 16

8:53 a.m. Larceny, Super Save – A caller said a man had been going into the store, taking drinks of alcohol and then putting the drinks back. 1:48 p.m. Public health order violation, La Luz Therapies – A caller said she took her child to speech therapy and noticed that the staff doesn’t wipe down the toys very well, even though they are used by all of the kids.

7:10 p.m. Suspicious circumstan­ce, Valverde Street – A caller said a female was screaming behind the library that she wanted to kill and eat white people.

OCT. 17

10:28 a.m. Traffic accident, injury, Paseo del Pueblo Sur – A caller said a male had been hit by a vehicle in front of the store.

10:47 a.m. Juvenile problem,

DreamTree Project – A caller said a teenage male was being aggressive with one of the staff members. 12:18 p.m. Informatio­n report, Padre Martinez Lane – A caller said someone had poured rat poison all over her back porch.

OCT. 18

10:41 a.m. Shopliftin­g, Super Save

– A male who was shopliftin­g earlier in the day was back at the store. 1:08 p.m. Domestic disturbanc­e, Sunset Street – A caller said she and another man were both in quarantine with COVID-19 and had started fighting.

3:03 p.m. Public health order violation, Kit Carson Park – A caller said a group of people at the back of the park weren’t wearing masks. An officer went by and told them to put masks on.

OCT. 19

9:43 a.m. Graffiti, Taos County Chamber of Commerce – A caller said someone had tagged the visitors center.

4:04 p.m. Breaking and enter

ing, Randall Lane – A caller said someone had broken into one of his properties. Some windows were broken and a door had been left open. Nothing had been taken but some items had been left behind.

4:33 p.m. Larceny, Walmart – A caller said there was video of a former employee shopliftin­g from the store. 6:31 p.m. Criminal damage, Allsup’s, 507 Paseo del Pueblo Norte – A caller said a male was trying to get change from the air pump machine using a screwdrive­r.
