Feloniz (Sylvia) Miera Saenz

Age 96 years old of Las Cruces, NM, passed peacefully into her heavenly father’s arms on December 10, 2020. Sylvia was born on September 19, 1924 in Taos, NM to Lino and Pilar Miera. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 64 years Frank, brothers Moises, Francisco, and Filadelfio (Esther) Miera, sister Rafaela (Joe L.) Vigil, and infant sister Evavgelina Miera. Sylvia worked in banking for most of her life, and retired after over 30 years. She loved spending time at the family cabin, fishing, and sneaking away anywhere with her daughter Patti. She was the glue that kept her family together, helping raise her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sylvia was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Sylvia is survived by step-siblings Ernesto (Molly) Montoya and Virginia (Robert) Gorman, sons Frankie (Elena) Saenz, Rick (Mary Ann) Saenz, and Angel (Chaun) Bustamante, daughter Patti Saenz, grandchildren Bianca (Cody) Mc Niel, Ricki (Cris Gonzalez) Saenz, Janella (Joseph) Daniels, Raeven (Richard) Enriquez, George and William Lopez, Annamarie (Forrest) Ross, Jessica (Michael) Media, grand kitties Casper and Tallulah, and 15 great grandchildren. Service will be on Wednesday, December 23, at 9:00 am, with interment immediately following her service. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, services will be private for immediate family only, but will be live-streamed.
