The Reverend Marney Ault Wasserman

Age 71, retired pastor in the Presbyterian Church (USA), completed her baptism and made her journey to God on April 19, 2021, at her home, surrounded by family. She was a vacationer in Valle Escondido for more than thirty years, and a full-time resident of Taos for the last two years. A memorial service was held in her honor at First Presbyterian Church in Taos on May 8, 2021. Marney was the daughter of Burch and Pony Ault, and the sister of Nick, Andy, David, and Allie Ault. In 1972 she married the Rev. Dave Wasserman; they celebrated their 48th anniversary last August. She is survived by her husband; her children, Matt, Nick, and Kate; her daughters-inlaw, Clare and Katie; and her grandchildren, Addie, Tali, Dylan, Asher, and Jackson. We will remember Marney for all the love, joy and peace she continuously gave to her family, friends, and acquaintances.
