Age 68, from Costilla, New Mexico passed away Saturday, July 31, 2021. He was born in 1953 to Toney and Marinita Cordova. He was raised by his grandparen­ts Lino and Leaonarda Trujillo. After graduating Questa High School he attended the University of New Mexico, where he got a Master’s Degree. Bobby was a well-known and loved educator and counselor at Questa High School. After 20 years he left to care for his grandparen­ts Lino and Lala. He then returned to work for the New Mexico Human Services Dept. in Taos where he retired. He loved the outdoors where he was an adamant hunter and fisherman, displaying various wild life showed how much Bobby enjoyed the outdoor life. Another passion of Bobby’s was riding his motorcycle­s and raising his pet sheep. He is preceded in death by his grandparen­ts, Lino and Leonarda Trujillo, parents, Toney and Marinita Cordova, brothers, Carlos Trujillo, Anthony, and Rocky Cordova, sister, Lucia Salazar, nephews, Anthony Jr. and Joseph Cordova. He is survived by his brother, Leonard Cordova (Carmen), sisters, Jeaneatte Archuleta, Teresa Medina, Augustina Archuleta (Archie), Tonita Manchego (Franklin), sisterin-law, Tina Trujillo, brother-in-law, Cippriano Salazar, and many nieces and nephews. Pallbearer­s: Joseph Dale Medina, Fabian Valdez,Allen Gallegos, Randy Gallegos, Billy Salazar, Leonard Cordova Jr. Honorary Pallbearer­s: Chris Trujillo, Robert Gallegos, Aurelio Corso, and manuel Pacheco. Rosary was recited on Friday August 6th at 9AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Costilla, NM. Funeral Mass followed at 10AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Costilla, NM.
