The following is a list of events that occurred in the town of Taos.

OCT. 20

4:35 p.m. Criminal damage,

Centinel Bank – Caller said a car had hit the metal barrier at the drive up. Caller also said the car broke off the motion sensor.

4:47 p.m. Criminal damage, Valverde Commons Drive – Caller said two people outside tried to cut down his fence.

6:03 p.m. Structure fire, Paseo del Pueblo Norte – Caller said he passed by the building and noticed flames coming out of broken windows.

OCT. 21

9:14 a.m. Criminal damage,

Valverde Commons – Caller said his neighbor ripped off his mailbox. Responders spoke to both parties and said this has been an ongoing issue because the mailbox borders on the two properties. 3:32 p.m. Suspicious circumstan­ce,

Taos Integrated School of Arts – Caller said a man dressed in black, sitting behind trees was watching kids. Responders checked the area and found no one.

4:25 p.m. Larceny, Albertsons – Caller said a woman took off with a shopping cart full of groceries.

OCT. 22

10:08 a.m. Stray animal,

McDonalds – Caller said there was a dead cat in the roadway that had been there since yesterday.

12:11 p.m. Theft of motor vehicle, Jaramillo Road – Caller said that her Buick along with her credit cards in the car were stolen from her home. Caller also said there were $600 credit card purchases from Walmart. 8:12 p.m. Suspicious circumstan­ce,

Bent Street – Caller said there was a man in all black walking around the street with a knife.

OCT. 23

4:31 p.m. Harassment, Calle Cornelio – Caller said a woman threatened to destroy her car. The caller also said the woman stole her cat.

5:39 p.m. Prowler, La Posta Road – Caller said homeless men looked through the windows of her neighbors house.

10:42 p.m. Welfare check, Albertsons – Caller said a man had been laying in the bushes close to Nusenda.

OCT 24

9:34 a.m. Shopliftin­g, Shell – Caller said a man stole a beer left in a silver car.

4:42 p.m. Shopliftin­g, Paseo Plaza Drive – Caller said a man had been in the dressing room for over two hours. 8:12 p.m. Loitering, Smith’s Food and Drug Center – Caller said a man in a black trench coat harassed customers and refused to leave the area. Oct. 25

10:04 a.m. Burglary automobile, St. James Church – Caller said a man stole from church goers’ cars. Caller said that $200 in cash was stolen from her car.

1:08 p.m. Larceny, Don Fernando de Taos – Caller said the government license plate from the car he drove was stolen last night.

7:55 p.m. Trespassin­g, Don Fernando de Taos – Caller said that a guest refused to leave and yelled racist slurs.

8:11 p.m. Trespassin­g, Smith’s Food and Drug Center – Caller said a man had been masturbati­ng and moaning in the bathroom, which made everyone uncomforta­ble.
