Due to the rise in cases of COVID-19 due to the spread of the Omicron variant, be sure to follow CDC and NMDOH guidelines by wearing a mask and socially distancing. Be prepared to provide proof of vaccination and a negative COVID test, if needed. And don’t forget to call ahead and verify the venue is open or to find out if they are meeting virtually and how to join.
VIRTUAL GRIEF
SUPPORT GROUPS are offered free of charge and weekly by Golden Willow Retreat. Groups meet via Zoom on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6-7:30 p.m. MST, Thursdays 3:30-5 p.m. MST and from 5:30-7 p.m. MST, and on Saturdays from 10-11:30 a.m. MST. The Zoom meetings may also be joined via phone. Everyone is welcome to join any meeting. For more info, visit goldenwillowretreat.com. ALATEEN meets at 4 p.m. every Friday. TAOS CANCER SUPPORT SERVICES SUPPORT GROUP meets on Zoom every Tuesday from 5:30-7 p.m. This group is free and open to all survivors of cancer, of any age, gender or stage of cancer. Group facilitators, Mary Short and Cobey Senescu, have both survived cancer, have participated in previous cancer support groups both as participants and facilitators and are trained in support group facilitation.
