Now is a time to ponder together, so we can learn together how to trust ourselves and others, so we can act and live in truth, beauty and goodness.

Here are some questions and answers about life, death and work. Let’s ponder together.

Questions: Currently, there are many questions about life, our world and our very existence. We see, and almost constantly feel, the realities of death experiences around us. Questions and strong emotions have become closer to us, among our own family members and friends, in the news, and within our mind, body and spirit. We can’t escape these many realms of sadness and grief. At home, places of work, wherever we go, we find endless questions.

We receive a call, text or email about someone we know regarding illness, death or a challenge. Why so many, so much?

Is it safe to go out?

What about our environment, past, present and future?

Costs are going up. Many needs, not in stock. When will this end?

Why so many signs still of “We are hiring”?

Where is normal to be found? Where do we turn and where do we go with our questions?

For the past couple of years, and especially now with war in our face, we feel a deeper and lingering sense of additional anxiety, tiredness, aches and pains within and around us. We live in a time, place and space of wondering how, why and how long?

Another strain of COVID. How many strains will there be? How and when will all this end? Why?

It is important and critical that we ask, say out loud and share our questions within self, with others and, especially, with our loved ones, friends and coworkers.

Answers: In these times of massive change and endless challenges, resolution, reconciliation and cooperation seem impossible. There are no easy answers. In some cases, there is no answer. There are mysteries and realms of understanding yet to be known and pondered. Let’s ponder together.

For most of us, you, me, and those around us, we are among the fortunate and privileged. That is a fact. Most of us can’t imagine the horror, suffering, pain, sounds and touches of fear, loss and numbness experienced by millions each day. It is all happening, now. The nowreality and our being privileged, makes our pondering, even more difficult. Let’s ponder together.

As we ponder, an essential ingredient is that we become increasingly aware of, and connected to, all that is in us and around us. The awareness of each entity of reality, the people, animals, plants and minerals, are all sensitive to and exude energies of life. There is a collective resonance of care, service, love, joy and well-being at the heart-core of everyone, everything, everywhere. We breath together as one living organism. Imagine that. There is a seed of life within death. Hope is notably found in hopelessness. Let’s ponder together.

Take a deep breath. Notice the air circulating through your body. Stand up (as you can) and sense your feet on the floor, on Mother Earth. Open your eyes wide and see and feel all that is around you. Turn your body all the way around, slowly, and notice the thousands of tiny and large images you see and can feel. Without thinking, feel the presence of those energies all around you. Think about your family, friends, coworkers and those with whom you are at odds or consider as adversaries. Let’s ponder together.

Ponder the life you have, the light of all kinds that you can see and feel. Sense the weakness and strength you have in your body. Notice the subtle and strong energies all around. Know of the insight and wisdom of your mind, body and spirit. Remember (remember) the care, touches and love you sense from family, friends and many folks. Sense the care and love you have for others, near and far. Let’s ponder together.

Consider the thoughts, ideas, hopes and dreams you have. Most likely, all peoples of the world have very similar thoughts, feelings and hopes as you do. Ponder the fact that every thought you have is a spark of energy. Many times, within each day, a single idea you have, creates exactly what you want. Now, consider all those sparks of energy within your thoughts, whatever they are, right now. Realize they are sparking, all around the world, joining with others’ energies of good thoughts for good things, a good life for everyone. What might happen? What can happen? I believe, and believe I know, that this is happening even to the extent of the Cosmos. Do you want to join me in this thinking? Let’s ponder together.

Here are a few words, concepts and possibilities for us to ponder alone and with others: Transformation; truth, beauty and goodness; light, love, graces of all kinds; values, wisdom and oneness; meaning, purpose, connections; vulnerability, intimacy, being humble; trust is an alchemy of competence, confidence and consistency (in that order); knowing, being, living. Let’s ponder together.

Choices: One of many inspirational folks I read, study and ponder their words is Caroline Myss. Caroline states that within each thought, word and action we take, we are making a choice between: “The love of power or the Power of Love?” We have many questions, answers and choices to ponder. Let’s ponder together.
