SEPT. 6

Shots Fired, Berninghau­s

1:03 a.m.

Street – Caller said she heard two shots coming from the south. No contact was made.

5:02 a.m. Disturbing the Peace, Salazar Trailer Park – Caller said the neighbors were partying and being loud and yelled “come here, I’m going to beat the [expletive] out of you!” A car left the scene prior to police arrival.

10:37 a.m. Shopliftin­g, Smith’s – Caller said a man on a red bicycle stole meat from the store and was headed south.

SEPT. 7 Criminal Damage, Kit Carson Park

6:22 a.m.

– Caller said a man wearing dark clothing broke a van’s window with a rock. No contact was made.

8:12 a.m. Welfare Check, Cruz Alta

– Caller said a man wearing jeans and an orange t-shirt was stumbling in and out of traffic. No contact was made. 1:20 p.m. Wild Animal, Youth & Family Center – Caller said there was a snake in the skating rink. 4:08 p.m. Shopliftin­g, Walmart – Caller said a man stole a camo vest and something from the electronic­s department. A foot pursuit for the man ensued and he was detained, but not before biting the police officer, eventually sending the officer to the hospital.

SEPT. 8 Trespassin­g, Paseo del Pueblo Sur

8:18 a.m.

– Caller said there were some men outside who were possibly homeless with power drills. No contact was made.

11:47 a.m. Graffiti, Artwares Jewelry – Caller said a person working on her AC unit noticed it was vandalized and someone had used the bathroom on it. The caller was in Santa Fe and no one was spotted on the roof of the building.

3:33 p.m. Welfare Check, Schreiber Family Medicine – Caller said they wanted a welfare check on a woman wearing a pink dress lying down on the ground talking to trees. No contact was made.

4:53 p.m. Welfare Check, Morada Lane – Caller said a man was lying in the bushes with a bike next to him. The man was ultimately arrested and taken to jail.

7:30 p.m. Wild Animals, Fred Baca Park – Caller said there were three cows and two goats running around the park.

SEPT. 9 Disturbing the Peace, Albertsons

10:49 a.m.

– Caller said a homeless man with an open container was yelling and screaming by the grassy area. He was detained and dropped off at the El Prado Speedway.

2:02 p.m. Medical Problem, El Taoseño – An officer was flagged down by some individual­s and found a man beaten up, spitting blood and “acting weird.” He was taken to the hospital.

5:21 p.m. Shopliftin­g, Paseo del

Pueblo Sur – Caller said a woman came in and stole “a whole bunch” of liquor and left in an orange truck. 6:31 p.m. Informatio­n Report, Allsup’s – Caller said a man in a blue Ford dumped a puppy in the area, and when the caller confronted him, he brandished a firearm and took off heading south. A report was filed. 8:50 p.m. Assault, Walmart – Caller said a grey Lexus shot a gun multiple times at Walmart. A witness statement was taken.

SEPT. 10 Harassment, San Antonio

7:19 a.m.

Street – Caller said he was receiving threatenin­g emails from a woman and wanted to speak with an officer. 11:45 a.m. Trespassin­g, CAV – Caller said there were two individual­s on the property that were trespassin­g and had a fire going. They left the area prior to law enforcemen­t’s arrival. 5:00 p.m. Welfare Check, Hail Creek Travel Center – Caller said there were two people in a white

Hyundai passed out at the pump. An officer found two women with foil in their laps, apparently passed out from drug use. They were taken to the county jail.

SEPT. 11 Poisoning, Allsup’s

12:41 a.m. – Caller said his friend was overdosing on alcohol and cocaine, and jumped out of the car, had a seizure and vomited. He was taken to the hospital. 7:25 a.m. Stray Animals, Cruz Alta – Caller said there were three horses in the middle of the road.

8:11 a.m. Assault, Gusdorf Place – Caller said her neighbor came over to her house and was yelling and threatenin­g her with a hammer. A report was filed.

2:17 p.m. Narcotics Offense, Taos Regional Airport – Caller said a woman was at the office and trying to transport more than five pounds of cannabis, which is over the legal limit.
