AINT TAOS PINK! October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual campaign to raise awareness about the impact of breast cancer. As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Holy Cross Hospital hosts events and fundraisers to Paint Taos Pink! throughout the month of October.
The ongoing events will culminate with a Silent Auction at the Stables Gallery on Oct. 21, 22 and 23 with an opening reception Friday night from 5-7 p.m.
“It is going to be a fabulous auction highlighting local artists including Ed Sandoval, Ann Houston, Zoë Zimmerman, and just too many other amazing artists to list here,” says Jeannie Ross MS/Director, Community Health Services at Holy Cross.
Taos Cancer Support Services is supported by fundraising and grants and provides non-medical support to people in Taos and Colfax Counties who are experiencing cancer. Support your community this month by taking part in one of the Paint Taos Pink! events. You can support the cause by taking part in the following ways:
Dine-Out to Help Eat at a local restaurant on their chosen day in October and a portion of their profits will be donated to Taos Cancer Support Services. You can find a list of local dining options and dates below.
Enjoy a Local Fitness Class Local yoga, fitness, and Zumba instructors are hosting classes throughout the month.
Bid on Local Art in a Silent Auction Visit the Stables Gallery between Oct 21st-23rd to browse and bid on local arts and crafts.
