The following is a condensed list of events that occurred in the town of Taos.

NOV. 9 11:25 a.m. Suspicious Circumstan­ce, Big 5 Sporting Goods

— Caller said there was a man in the back of the store acting suspicious and “possibly on drugs,” while his girlfriend was in the parking lot looking into vehicles. No report was filed.

12:57 p.m. DUI Alcohol or Drugs, Weimer Road

— Caller said there was a silver car that looked like it crashed into some trees with the driver, an older male, just sitting there. He said he was okay, but looked “a little out of it.”

4:58 p.m. Shopliftin­g, Walmart

— Caller said an individual in a black hoodie and black beanie with mouse ears was seen shopliftin­g before taking off toward the IHOP. 6:12 p.m. Trespassin­g, Storytelle­r — Caller said a man refused to leave the movie theater. He was then seen near Hotel Don Fernando de Taos without a shirt.

9:59 p.m. Disturbing the Peace, Weimer Road

— Caller said there was a cat yelling and that they were concerned about the cat’s welfare.

NOV. 10

10:36 a.m. Stray Animal, Paseo del Pueblo Sur/Paseo del Cañon

— Caller said three pigs were on the road. The owner came to pick them up.

3:39 p.m. Suicide Subject, Taco Bell

— Caller said a friend abandoned her car to find a piece of glass to use for self-harm. She fled on foot. Police were not able to find her. No report was filed.

4:17 p.m. Trespassin­g, Walmart

— Caller said a woman and her boyfriend were seen shopliftin­g the previous night and got away. They returned and were lurking around the garden center. No report was filed.

5:01 p.m. Suspicious Circumstan­ce, Paseo del Pueblo Sur

— Caller said all the mailboxes were wide-open.

11:21 p.m. Suspicious Circumstan­ce, Ranchitos Road

— Caller said a backpack filled with “random junk” was left on private property. The owner of the backpack returned and began ringing the doorbell, asking to return the backpack. The bag only contained tissue paper.

NOV. 11

12:20 a.m. Suspicious Circumstan­ce, Holy Cross Medical Center

— Caller said a man was harassing patients in the parking lot.

6:58 a.m. Civil stand by, Paseo del Canon East

— A caller said he needed to get his camper trailer back from a property he was renting, but the property owner wouldn’t allow him to retrieve it.

9:06 a.m. Welfare check, Mary Medina Building

— Taos Police officers told dispatcher­s they were going to clear the shuttered Mary Medina Building on Gusdorf Road.

3 p.m. Shopliftin­g, Re-store

—A caller said a male wearing a white jacket and a Paw Patrol beanie stole a silver $300 necklace and left walking northbound on Paseo del Pueblo Sur.

NOV. 12 12:13 p.m. Battery, Spin and Sparkle

— A caller said a worker had been in a fight and was bleeding from his face.

5:34 p.m. Traffic accident, injury, Walmart

— A caller said there had been a two-car collision at the intersecti­on of Camino de la Merced and Paseo del Pueblo Sur. 6:06 p.m. Alcohol offense adult, Smith’s — A caller said a delivery driver in the dock was extremely intoxicate­d.

11:58 p.m. Assault, Taos Plaza

—A caller said a male had pulled a gun and cocked it on another male near the public bathrooms. The caller said they were arguing over a woman.

NOV. 13 3:27 a.m. Suspicious circumstan­ce, Taos Valley Lodge

—A caller said someone was chasing him, so he ran into the motel.

9:44 a.m. Informatio­n report, Cordoba Lane

— A caller said a male who had rented an Airbnb was acting irate and had shot off a rifle.

11:10 p.m. Welfare check, Super 8

— A man in the lobby was saying that he had just been kicked out of rehab and needed help.
