The following is a condensed list of reports made to Taos Central Dispatch within the town of Taos from Jan. 12-16. JAN. 12 1:04 a.m. Sick Person, Paseo del

Pueblo Norte — Caller, who was intoxicate­d, said his body was “shutting down.” He just “wanted someone to talk to.”

10:03 a.m. Welfare Check, Paseo del Cañon — Caller said a man with mental issues and on drugs was behind a store near the middle school “acting crazy.” Police advised the man to stop screaming.

1:16 p.m. Larceny, Walgreens — Caller said someone broke into the propane tank cage and stole a bunch of tanks.

8:18 p.m. Harassment, Walmart

— Caller said a man was following people around the parking lot in a newer truck and “yelling” at them. 10:21 p.m. Hang Up, Paseo del Pueblo Norte — Caller said it didn’t matter what his emergency was because he’s a disabled veteran. Police arrived, and the caller was fine.

11:33 p.m. Suspicious Circumstan­ce, Camino del Medio — Caller said someone was knocking on her doors and windows. While dispatch was asking her questions, they heard a “loud bang” followed by screaming. The line was disconnect­ed. Police arrived on scene and saw the screens were removed from the rear windows.

JAN. 13 5:17 a.m. Disorderly Conduct,

Taos Spa & Tennis Club — Caller said a member of the club was “out of control” and threatenin­g other members.

10:11 a.m. Disorderly Conduct, Taos Spa & Tennis Club — Caller said a woman was “causing a scene” and entering the men’s restroom, harassing people. 3:05 p.m. Public Indecency, Herdner Road — Caller said two men were defecating behind a dumpster. No contact was made, and no report was filed.

5:26 p.m. Residentia­l Burglary, Gusdorf Place — Caller said their mother’s ex-boyfriend broke into her residence through a window to retrieve his clothes.

8:16 p.m. Traffic Accident: No Injury, Taos Spa & Tennis Club — Caller said a truck tried hitting them before “hauling [expletive]” toward Los Cordovas.

JAN. 14

8:46 a.m. Welfare Check, Mondo

Italiano — Log said an officer made contact with a wanted individual, who was walking her dogs. The officer “let her walk” because they were uncertain what to do with the dogs if they arrested her.

11:37 a.m. Commercial Burglary, Days Inn — Caller said the team doing a remodel has been breaking in and stealing TVs.

2:52 p.m. Welfare Check, Civic Plaza — Caller said a woman in floral tights and sandals was weaving in and out of traffic. Police confirmed it was Bonnie, “just being her usual self.”

5:43 p.m. Psychiatri­c Behavioral, Sunset Street — Caller said a man was “killing” her and her mother. He was on a roof, armed with a gun. 11:46 p.m. Domestic Disturbanc­e, Herdner Road — Caller said a man was at his house, threatenin­g to “shank” him and harassing his wife.

JAN. 15

9:06 a.m. Assault, Sonic DriveIn — Caller said a man pulled a gun after being refused service. A beon-the-lookout was issued for his vehicle, and he was later detained. 5:03 p.m. Gunshot, Holy Cross Hospital — Caller said a man with a gunshot wound on his chin was being uncooperat­ive and did not know where the incident took place. 6:34 p.m. Disorderly Conduct, Pentecosta­l Church of God — Caller said a “deranged and hysterical” man was arguing with some people on the property. He had a knife, but it was taken away.

8:21 p.m. Suspicious Circumstan­ce, Azteca Restaurant — Caller said a woman wearing skiing gear was “acting weird” and was not ordering food or paying any attention to wait staff.

JAN. 16

2:06 p.m. Assault, Carson’s Trailer

Park — Caller said her landlord assaulted her after she requested he make some repairs.

6:23 p.m. Welfare Check, Montoya Street — Caller said they wanted a welfare check on a neighbor who wasn’t answering his phone. Police determined the neighbor passed away at Holy Cross Hospital the previous day.
