The following is a condensed list of reports made to Taos Central Dispatch within the town of Taos from March 1-5.

March 1

2:50 a.m. Trespassin­g, Hotel Don

Fernando de Taos — Caller said a man made a reservatio­n but didn’t have money to pay for it and was refusing to leave. No report was filed. 5 a.m. Suspicious Circumstan­ce, Montoya Street — Caller said there were three men in black clothing walking down the street, and there was a car with no headlights on. Police removed a vehicle from the Kit Carson parking lot.

9:37 a.m. Welfare Check, Taos Urgent Care — Caller said there was a man walking in the street who appeared to be drunk.

March 2

9:51 a.m. Welfare Check, Taos

Public Library — Caller said there was a person laying on the Chile Line bench and hadn’t moved in an hour. Police made contact, but found the individual was just asleep.

1:54 p.m. Suspicious Circumstan­ce, Albright Street — Caller said there was a man with a shovel and a baby carrier walking in a field. 3:23 p.m. Reckless Driving, Taos Middle School — Caller said there were two cars weaving in and out of traffic. They pulled into the police station and spoke with an officer.

March 3

11:59 a.m. Harassment, Fred Baca

Park — Caller said a woman was yelling at them about their dogs.

Police made no contact. 3:59 p.m. Informatio­n Report,

Hotel Don Fernando de Taos — Caller said a man was driving like a “psycho” while threatenin­g people and shouting profanitie­s.

4:21 p.m. Harassment, Guthrie Lane — Caller said her teenage neighbors were conspiring against her by blocking her sewage and poisoning her dog with a contaminat­ed bagel. Police determined this to be a civil matter. No report was filed. 4:49 p.m. Property Found, Family Dollar — Caller said there were objects wrapped in tin foil in a vent, which they believed to be narcotics. Police found no drugs, however. 6:37 p.m. Assault, Albertsons — Caller said a man tried to run her over in his vehicle before speeding off.

10:44 p.m. Trespassin­g, Corner Office — Caller said eight or nine kids jumped on the roof, but no one was found on the roof.

March 4

12:26 p.m. Harassment, Albertsons

— Caller said a man approached her and asked for the time. After answering, he drove around the parking lot and proceeded to follow her. He eventually left her alone once she got a ride home from someone. 6:58 p.m. Harassment, Albertsons — Caller said there was a man outside “sketching out the customers” just walking around. Police made no contact.

March 5

12:35 a.m. Disturbing the Peace,

Hotel La Fonda — Caller said there was very loud music coming from the alleyway, sounding like a live performanc­e. The band loaded up their stuff before police arrived.

6:56 a.m. Trespassin­g, Taos Integrated School of the Arts — Caller said there was a man tearing up trash out front. No contact was made.

8:52 a.m. Harassment, Civic Plaza — Caller said there was a man on foot trying to fight people. No contact was made.

10:27 a.m. Trespassin­g, Ace Hardware — Caller said two possibly homeless men were yelling at customers by the door, so no one was entering the business.

7:55 p.m. Traffic Hazard, Paseo del Pueblo Sur — Caller said someone placed constructi­on barrels in the middle of the road.
