The following is a condensed list of reports made to Taos Central Dispatch within the town of Taos from March 8-12.

March 8

3:38 a.m. Domestic Disturbanc­e,

Paseo del Pueblo Sur — Caller said an intoxicate­d man was refusing to leave and accusing them of stealing his boot. Police arrived and stayed on the scene until the man found his boot and left.

8 a.m. Trespassin­g, Las Cruces Road — Caller said a homeless man was hitting her vehicle while urinating in her driveway.

9:49 p.m. Narcotics Offense, Herdner Road — Caller said a man was looking into vehicles before getting into a truck and “doing drugs.” Police made no contact.

March 9 8:29 a.m. Suspicious Circumstan­ce, Human Services Department — Caller said they saw an individual squatting but was unsure what they were doing. Police arrived, and the individual was just waiting for a friend. No report was filed.

9:49 a.m. Criminal Damage, Albertsons — Caller said a man broke a truck’s windshield while yelling at them.

10:57 a.m. Criminal Damage, Dollar Tree — Caller said someone drove into a sewage line, causing $85,000 in damage.

3:15 p.m. Welfare Check, Reed Lane — Caller said there was a man laying underneath a tree and wasn’t sure what was wrong with him. Police arrived and found he was just “minding his business.” 4:46 p.m. Domestic Disturbanc­e, Camino de la Merced — Caller said a man and a woman were hitting each other inside of a tent. Police made no contact.

8:14 p.m. Trespassin­g, Taco Bell — Caller said a man was standing in the middle of the drive thru refusing to leave. He left before police arrived.

9:08 p.m. Suspicious Circumstan­ce, Ledoux Street — Caller said she heard a sound while in bed, as if someone was trying to break in. Police found the property to be secure, and no one was found outside.

March 10 2:53 p.m. Traffic Accident,

Gunslinger­s — Caller said a jeep ran into another car, seemingly intentiona­lly, as it backed up and rammed into the vehicle again. The woman driving the jeep tried to flee but was kept there by witnesses. She was taken into custody, and it was somehow discovered that she had been carrying a bag of meth in her vagina.

7:13 p.m. Disturbing the Peace, Lambert’s — Caller said a possibly intoxicate­d man was trying to fight people inside the restaurant. He fled before police arrived.

9:23 p.m. Shots Fired, Mariposa Lane — Caller said she heard two or three shots fired from the cemetery before seeing a vehicle speed off. Police made no contact but patrolled throughout the night.

March 11

10:53 a.m. Trespassin­g, De Vargas Lane — Caller said a trash can was stolen from a house for sale. 5:19 p.m. Welfare Check, Albertsons — Caller said an elderly man was in his vehicle, pouring alcohol into his coffee. Police found no alcohol in the vehicle, and he disposed of his coffee.

March 12

8:51 a.m. Informatio­n Report,

Address Redacted — Caller said her ex-boyfriend was not supposed to own a firearm but had posted a photo of himself carrying one on Facebook.

5:35 p.m. Welfare Check, Albertsons — Caller said a Native man wearing a red cap was dancing in the middle of the street. Police made no contact.

6:58 p.m. Disorderly Conduct, Walmart — Caller said three teenagers were spraying “fart spray” on people.
