The following is a condensed list of reports made to Taos Central Dispatch within the town of Taos from Jan. 30 - Feb. 4.

JAN. 30

8:56 a.m. Larceny, Beginnings

Church — Caller said a woman was searching through vehicles and taking items out.

10:03 a.m. Informatio­n Report, La Lomita Drive — Caller said someone had been throwing trash cans into his yard, and he was not sure if he was being targeted or if it was random.

10:08 p.m. Assault, Sushi Siam — Caller said a man pulled a knife on him, and then proceeded to pull out a gun. A report was made.

FEB. 1

8:48 a.m. Welfare Check, North

Plaza — Caller said a male lying on the floor and “covered in blood” was yelling for help. Medics transporte­d him after discoverin­g he was not covered in blood but pepper spray. 9:10 a.m. Graffiti, Millicent Rogers — Callers said someone had spraypaint­ed on the cottonwood trees and that it had offended her seven-yearold son. The boy had seen a “graffiti wiener” and had a breakdown. 3:47 p.m. Suspicious Circumstan­ce, Gusdorf Road — Caller said people were “smoking something” while pushing shopping carts down the middle of the road, causing the cars to swerve around them.

FEB. 2 1:12 p.m. Disorderly Conduct,

Paseo del Cañon East — Caller said a teenage boy was having a “mental breakdown” over breaking up with his girlfriend and was “punching things.” It was later discovered the boy had stolen a knife.

FEB. 3

12:57 a.m. Disturbing the Peace, Herdner Road — Caller said their downstairs neighbor was playing music so loud it was “shaking the floor.” Police spoke to the neighbor. 3:13 p.m. Trespassin­g, Walgreens — Caller said a female was outside the building threatenin­g customers with a stick.

4:15 p.m. Wild Animal, La Lomita Road — Caller said six big-horned sheep were in her yard. It was later discovered they were domesticat­ed goats.

8:34 p.m. Welfare Check, Toalne

Street — Caller said a homeless woman was “howling” and screaming for help. When asked if she was okay, the woman screamed and ran away.

FEB. 4

6:07 p.m. Civil Standby, Mariposa

Lane — Caller requested an escort to unload groceries and explained she was worried a man was waiting in her apartment ready to shoot her. Police made contact.

7:53 p.m. Prowler, Zia Circle — Caller said someone was walking around her house and knocking on her back door. Police were unable to find them.
