The following is a condensed list of reports made to Taos Central Dispatch within the town of Taos from Feb. 28-March 3. FEB. 28

11:47 a.m. Civil Complaint, Martyrs Lane — Caller said his neighbor was telling everyone the caller had been harassing him. Caller said that he was actually the one being harassed, adding that it was an ongoing issue. 7:39 p.m. Welfare Check, Mariposa Place — Caller said their neighbors were putting chemicals into the HVAC, causing them to spray everywhere when turning on the heat. They added the neighbors were also drilling holes into the wall and putting chemicals directly into the apartment.

FEB. 29

MARCH 1

12:20 p.m. Stray Animal, World

Cup — Caller said she witnessed a dog “jump a kid.” She added that the dog’s owner was there but the dog was not on a leash.

4:09 p.m. Shots Fired, Gusdorf Road — Caller said that, while walking her dog, a man approached her and shot at her. 4:43 p.m. Harassment, Taos High School — Caller said a man was harassing, yelling at and filming the girls during softball practice. Police cited the man for trespassin­g.

10:15 a.m. Welfare Check,

Smith’s — Caller said a man wearing a helmet was on the ground screaming for help. Police made contact and discovered he was only singing and that he “liked to sing.”

7:49 p.m. Harassment, Paseo del

Pueblo Sur — Caller said “hackers” were trying to speak with her through her electronic­s and walls, “harassing” her and “violating her rights.” She added that her television was displaying the devil. 9:16 p.m. Welfare Check, Paseo

del Pueblo Sur — Caller asked for a check on his wife as he was worried she would hurt herself. Police found the woman did not want to talk to her husband, and when asked if she wanted to hurt herself, replied, “Oh, hell no.”

MARCH 2

12:33 a.m. Unresponsi­ve, Taos

Plaza — Caller said there was an unresponsi­ve male in the plaza. A second caller added that “some crazy stuff was happening” at the plaza with a “bunch of people fighting.”

5:58 p.m. Welfare Check, Trujillo Trailer Court — Caller said she found a body near her mailboxes. Woman called back, advising that he was only checking a leak.

MARCH 3

6:44 a.m. Wildland Fire, Taos

Valley Lodge — Caller said that a cloud of white smoke was coming from the patch of trees next to the lodge. The fire was discovered to be from a campfire at a homeless camp.

10:21 a.m. Criminal Damage, Taos Center for the Arts — Caller said someone had slashed the tires on her car after only being parked for an hour.
