J.R. will discuss the forest mayordomo program in Taos County, which has become a proven model for improving forest health and protecting critical watersheds while making it easier for local residents to access firewood and other forest products. AARP TAX-AIDE volunteers will be providing free in-person tax preparatio­n assistance Tuesdays Jan. 30 through April 9 at the Talpa Community Center, 4 Archuleta Road, Ranchos de Taos.
