J.R. will discuss the forest mayordomo program in Taos County, which has become a proven model for improving forest health and protecting critical watersheds while making it easier for local residents to access firewood and other forest products. TAOS COUNTY’S COMPREHENSIVE PLAN is being updated and asks residents to take a survey to provide direction for the future of Taos County. AARP TAX-AIDE volunteers will be providing free in-person tax preparation assistance Tuesdays Jan. 30 through April 9 at the Talpa Community Center, 4 Archuleta Road, Ranchos de Taos.
