JONES­BORO, GA- Es­ther Brant­ley Boyer, age 99, died Novem­ber 6. She has moved one last time to her heav­enly home to be with her de­parted fam­ily and friends. She was born to the late As­bury Dodge Brant­ley and Ber­nice Allen Brant­ley. She is pre­ceded in death by her hus­band of 49 years, F. San­ford Boyer, her broth­ers Hautell and A.D. Brant­ley, her sis­ters Dorothy Fran­cis Bartlett andAlice Lan­ter­man and her son-in-law, B. FrankWil­liams, Jr. She is sur­vived by her son Morris Boyer (Carol) of Jones­boro, GA, her daugh­ter Alice Gay Boyer and her grand­son Zane Boyer-Wil­liams of Louisville, KY. She is also sur­vived by her lov­ing nephew and his wife, Jimmy and Diana Lan­ter­man. Many nieces and neph­ews also sur­vive. Mrs. Boyer was born with an ear for­mu­sic and was the pi­anist at Beu­lah Bap­tist Church in Han­cock County for 55 years. She worked at the Naval Or­di­nance Plant, theWood­enMill and was amed­i­cal tech­nol­o­gist at Cen­tral State Hos­pi­tal for 26 years. She was a for­mer mem­ber of the Grand Cho­rus of First Bap­tist Church of ChristMa­con, GA, amem­ber of Keenagers and the XYZ Club. The fam­ily will have a pri­vate cel­e­bra­tion of life gath­er­ing.
