TV best bets for Dec. 9-15

The Telegraph (Macon) - - Television - BY CHUCK BARNEY

DON’T MISS: “Elseworlds” – Superheroes unite! It’s time for an epic, three-part mashup of “The Flash,” “Arrow” and “Supergirl.” The crossover fun – and weirdness – begins when Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) wake up one morning and realize they have swapped bodies with each other. They set off to find out what disturbed the timeline to cause such a radical role reversal and eventually realize they need Supergirl’s (Melissa Benoist) help. Follow along with “The Flash” (8 p.m. Sunday), “Arrow” (8 p.m., Monday) and “Supergirl” (8 p.m. Tuesday) on The CW.

Other bets: SUNDAY: The first season of “Dancing With the Stars: Junior” comes to an end in a holidaythemed finale as the four remaining kid couples strut their stuff in two dances and a champion is crowned. (8 p.m., ABC).

MONDAY: Reba McEntire is our host for “CMA Country Christmas.” The special features performances by Tony Bennett, Dan + Shay, Brett Eldredge, Amy Grant, Diana Krall, Dustin Lynch, Martina McBride, Brad Paisley and others. (8 p.m., ABC).

TUESDAY: There’s a new dilemma on “NCIS.” The team’s holiday plans are put on hold when the murder investigation of a Navy veteran includes the discovery of a newborn baby who has no identification and no apparent ties to a family. (8 p.m., CBS).

TUESDAY: On “Darci Lynne: My Hometown Christmas,” ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer, the 2017 winner of “America’s Got Talent,” celebrates the holidays Oklahoma style. Joining her are her various puppets, along with Kristin Chenoweth, Toby Keith, Hunter Hayes, Pentatonix and Lindsey Stirling. (9 p.m., NBC).

WEDNESDAY: On “Ellen’s Game of Games Holiday Spectacular,” Ellen DeGeneres mixes laughably naughty with playfully nice. Games include “It’s a Wonderful Wife,” “Danger Word,” “Blindfolded Musical Packages,” “Dizzy Dasher,” “Know or Go” and “Hot Hands.” (8 p.m., NBC).

THURSDAY: This week’s new episode of “Mom” is titled “Foot Powder and Five Feet of Vodka.” Christy’s search for the perfect Secret Santa gift leads her to discover Adam has been hiding something from Bonnie. (9 p.m., CBS).

FRIDAY: Are you ready for “The 87th Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade”? It’s a massive procession down Hollywood Boulevard, with fancy floats, marching bands, celebrities and bloated balloons. (8 p.m., The CW).

SATURDAY: The feel-good holiday movies just keep coming. In “Christmas Pen Pals,” the creator of a dating app (Sarah Drew) heads home for the holidays and runs into her high school boyfriend (Niall Matter). We’ll let you figure it out from there. (8 p.m., Lifetime).
