Lillian Cottone of Plymouth Meeting

Lillian (Bono) Cottone of Plymouth Meeting passed away on November 19, 2017 at Hickory House Nursing Home in Honeybrook. She was 89 years old. Born in Sciacca, Italy on September 18, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Carlo and Maria (Russo) Bono.

She traveled from Italy to the United States, arriving in 1955.

Lillian worked for Strawbridg­e and Clothier from 1970 until her retirement in 1996. She was a member of Figlie Di Maria.

Lillian loved spending time with her family and thoroughly enjoyed cooking.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michele; three brothers and one sister.

Lillian is survived by her son, Vincenzo C. Cottone; her daughter, Maddalena M. (John) Littlefiel­d; and her sisters, Angela Lucania and Josephine Bianco. Also survived by seven grandchild­ren and one great-grandchild.

Relatives and friends invited to her viewing Sunday eve. 6 – 8 P.M. at the Raffeo-DiCecco Memorial Home, 19 East Germantown Pk., East Norriton (at Hannah Ave. and next to the Shoprite shopping center). In addition, there will be a viewing Monday 9 – 9:45 A.M. followed by Funeral Mass 10 A.M. at Holy Saviour Church, 407 East Main Street, Norristown. Entombment St. Patrick’s Mausoleum.
