Mary Catherine Smerecki of Collegeville

Mary Catherine (Knaecke) Smerecki, 66, of Collegeville, PA passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2017. She was born in Norristown, PA on June 6, 1951. Mary lived in Collegeville, Pa for over 30 years, formerly of Conshohocken, Pa. She was a member of St. Mary’s RC Church of Schwenksville, Pa., and former member of St. Matthew’s RC Church of Conshohocken, Pa. Mary enjoyed spending time with her husband, children, and grandkids. Mary also enjoyed playing bingo.

Daughter of the late Peter & Theresa (Nowakowski) Knaecke. Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Joseph Smerecki of Collegeville, PA; daughter, Adina (& Jim) Pufko of Oley, PA; son Joseph Smerecki, III of Pottstown, PA; son Stephen Smerecki of Collegeville, PA; brother John Knaecke of Bridgeport, PA; sister Terry Wessell of Bridgeport, PA; and sister, Gerry Melle of Bridgeport PA. Also survived by four grandsons, Anthony Pufko, Nathan Pufko, Joseph Smerecki, IV, & Cole Joseph Smerecki.

Her funeral Mass will be held on Thursday December 28, 2017 at 11:00 AM from the St. Mary’s Church, 40 Spring Mount Road, Schwenksville, Pa.

Clergy: Fr. Louis P. Bellopede officiating.

Friends may call on Wednesday, December 27, 2017, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA and Thursday morning from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the church.

Interment will take place in Limerick Garden Of Memories, Limerick, PA.
