UPPER MERION » Highly praised Princeton restaurant and bar Mistral is approaching the one-year anniversary of its second location at the King of Prussia Mall. For those who have yet to sample it, Mistral’s menu boasts globally inspired, eclectic small plates that present explorative twists on culinary classics. With fullservice lunch, dinner, weekend brunch and happy hour menus, Mistral offers something for destination shoppers, food connoisseurs and passerby’s alike.

Chef Scott Anderson opened Mistral’s first location in Princeton in 2013 with co-owner Stephen Distler, offering diners a stunning mix of taste, style and atmosphere. Mistral King of Prussia exudes a similar ethos, boasting Michelinquality chefs, a fast-paced shared-plates service model and a menu full of fresh flavors. All dishes are reflective of the chef’s passion for locality, reflecting the highest quality ingredients indicative of Montgomery County’s local butchers, farmers and fishers.

“At Mistral, we rely on the seasonality of ingredients to create our menus,” explains Anderson. “The farms in Pennsylvania are rapidly developing, allowing us to offer our guests fresh, outof-season flavors that they wouldn’t normally expect to see on the menu.”

To satisfy shoppers and businesspeople on the move, Mistral recently introduced a new lunch-specific menu as an alternative to its traditional all-day shared-plates menu. Mistral’s lunch menu includes new items such as the roast curry chicken salad sandwich, teriyaki rice bowl and avocado wrap, alongside favorites like the dry aged burger and pork belly ramen. The lunch menu is available from 11:30 a.m.-5 p.m.

Mistral features seating for 111 guests, including an 18-seat bar in the center of the room and, as weather permits, outdoor seating for 48. Happy-hour specials, including discounted bar bites, wine and beer, are available Monday-Friday from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. and on Sunday from 3– 7 p.m. A special Sunday brunch menu is available starting at 11 a.m.

Mistral is a proud member of the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce.
