Theresa Proietto of King of Prussia

Theresa Proietto (nee Pizza) of King of Prussia passed away peacefully on January 18, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Norristown to the late Gaetano and Maria (nee Capone) Pizza. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Joseph D. Proietto, and all of her siblings; Anthony, Rocco, Charles, Salvatore, Pasquelina, Ann Delvecchio, Assunta Borzillo, Grace “Rose” Lenzi, and Margaret Roberto.

Theresa was an active member of Holy Savior and Upper Merion Seniors where she enjoyed playing cards and bingo. She was a parishioner of the former Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church of Bridgeport where she was one of the original volunteers of the Annual Feast. Theresa will be fondly remembered for her unique laugh and great sense of humor. She also loved going to the Casinos with her long time friend Lee. She had a passion for cooking and baking, but above all she adored her family.

Theresa was the devoted mother to Joseph (Charlotte nee Roberto) and Barbara Ianovale (Joseph), dear Grandmother to Kimberly Acito (Michael), Jennifer Frisco (Steve Dower), Joseph Jr. Proietto; Joseph III, Alyssa and Ryan Ianovale; great Grandmother to Shane and Dylan Acito, David and Julia Frisco and Nina Proietto. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends who will deeply miss her.

Relatives and Friends are invited to Theresa’s Life Celebration visitation on Thursday January 25 at Boyd-Horrox-Givnish Life Celebration Home of East Norriton, 200 West Germantown Pike from 6PM to 8PM and again Friday January 26 at Holy Saviour Parish of Norristown, 407 E. Main Street from 9AM to 9:50AM followed by her Funeral Mass. Interment to follow at St. Augustine’s of King of Prussia.
