Carol Ann Casciano of West Norriton

-

Carol Ann (Mastercola) Casciano, 71, of West Norriton, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.

Born on December 18, 1946 in Bridgeport, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Candello) Mastercola and wife of Daniel Casciano.

Carol grew up in Bridgeport, and she attended Our Lady of Mount Carmel grade school and Bishop Kenrick High School. Her life brought her many work experiences, including the PA Bureau of Rehabilitation, ExtraCorporeal Medical Specialties as a Customer Service Supervisor, and Dornseif & Associates, from which she retired in December 2017. Throughout her career, Carol was the voice upon which many customers depended, and she was invaluable to her employers.

Carol married Daniel Casciano on August 15, 1970. She was an avid Eagles and Phillies fan. Together with her husband Dan, she enjoyed watching sports, their trips to Ocean City, MD, and dining at their favorite restaurants. Above all, Carol enjoyed her time with her family.

Carol was a kind, generous, and reliable wife, sister, and aunt, who loved to lend a helping hand to her family, especially her many nieces and nephews. She was a legendary cookie-baker at Christmas time, and, working with her sisters, taught the tradition to the next generation. She typed many a term paper with a wickedly fast hand. Nothing was too much to ask of her. She loved her great nieces and great nephew very much. To them, Aunt Carol was a shining constant who always came to family gatherings equipped with cupcakes and other treats for dessert.

In addition to her loving husband Dan, Carol is survived by her brother Joseph (Karen) Mastercola, two sisters, Marie (Jack) Rose and Josephine “Dollie” DiMino, and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces, one great nephew, and many cousins.
