Vincent J. Greco

Vincent J. Greco, age 85 passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on May 7th, 2018. Born in Norristown, Pa. on May 14th, 1932. He was a graduate of Norristown High School in 1950. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus of Norristown, Pa. Lodge 213, Justice of the Peace for Norristown, Pa., an army veteran who served Caribbean command, Panama Canal 33rd infantry 19531955 and was a Superintendent of the Pennsylvania Turnpike for 36 years. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Dembeck. Loving brother to Charlotte Corrigan, Ted Greco, Francis Greco, and Eleanor Eason. Loving father to Dennis and Karen Greco, Vincent and Judy Greco, and daughter Maria Lesniewski, Cheryl Ogborn, and Nicole Echevarria. A loving pop pop to Dennis Greco, Bethanne Greco, Amanda McGlynn, Mark Lesniewski, Vincent Greco, and Shea Greco and 4 great-grandchildren, John Michael, Madison, Autumn, and Scarlet.

Predeceased by ex-wife, Anna Theresa Greco and siblings Joe Greco and Alphonso Greco.

Services are Thursday May 10th 6 - 8 p.m. at John F. Givnish of Philadelphia, 10975 Academy Rd.

Friday May 11th 10 -11 a.m. at St. Anselm Church 12670 Dunks Ferry Rd. Philadelphia. Mass at 11 a.m. Interment will take place on a later date at families discretion. In lieu of flowers, donations will be made in Vincent’s name to Amvets, at Amvetsnsf. org/donatenow/.
