Ella Patricia “Pat” Macasieb (nee Dorner) of Philadelph­ia, passed away peacefully on Sunday July 15, at her daughter’s home surrounded by her family. Born November 12, 1939 in Philadelph­ia, she was the daughter of the late John and Ella (nee Shannon) Dorner.

Pat was a 2 Streeter, born and raised on Stone House Lane in South Philly. She had a lot of iwnterests that kept her busy in her retirement: Phillies, especially Jimmy Rollins, bingo, sewing, she was the scorekeepe­r for Fairmount Park Women’s Softball League, fishing &crabbing, Halloween, feeding her birds, gardening, and recycling. In her later years, Pat enjoyed spending time with her three grandchild­ren; Jason, Adam, and Carissa, collecting state quarters, playing Legos and sharing her knowledge of history.

Pat is survived by her eight children: Patricia Reiter (Thomas), Andrea Macasieb, Angel Macasieb (Deborah), Serena Cross, James Macasieb (Debbie), Felicia St. Germain (Ernie), Bartholome­w Macasieb (Jennifer) and Robert Macasieb, her brother Andrew Dorner and sister Dolores Dorner, ten grandchild­ren and seven great grandchild­ren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her three children; Denise Macasieb, Sylvester P. Macasieb, Jr., and Silvio J. Macasieb and four siblings; John, James, Charles Dorner and Doris Blazer.

Relatives and friends are invited to share in Pat’s Life Celebratio­n on Friday July 20 from 6 to 8 PM and on Saturday from 9 to 10 AM at Boyd-Horrox-Givnish of East Norriton 200 West Germantown Pike, 610-277-7000. Her funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 AM at Holy Saviour Church on Main St. in Norristown. Interment will be at St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
