Norristown to hold workshop for potential food truck and restaurant owners
NORRISTOWN >> The Municipality of Norristown and the Norristown Small Business Center are sponsoring a workshop on Feb. 27, from 5:30 to 7:30 at Municipal Hall, 235 E. Airy Street, Norristown for anyone interested in learning more about opening a restaurant or operating a food truck in Norristown.
Topics will include the latest laws regarding food trucks; understanding the steps to opening a restaurant; guidelines in the food industry. Experts on hand will include Industrial Food Truck founder Gary Koppleman; Marshall Rich Lockart from the Norristown Fire Department and representatives from the Montgomery County Department of Health.

The Norristown Small Business Assistance Center is a project of the Municipality of Norristown and is funded with Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds the Municipality receives from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The Norristown Small Business Assistance Center (NSBAC) provides capacity building programs through business training, education, resources, one-on-one coaching, and access to capital for Norristown residents who fall within HUD income guidelines.
