BOYERTOWN 55, NORRISTOWN 34 >> The Bears clinched a PAC Final Six place and enabled head coach Jason Bieber to reach a personal milestone while handling the Eagles in Thursday’s PAC Liberty Division contest.

Leading wire-to-wire, Boyertown got Bieber the 200th victory for his 11 years leading the program. Julia Smith hit for a gamehigh 18 points and Ashley Kapp another 12.

Boyertown (10-12) improved to 9-7 in the PAC to claim the second wild card for next week’s league playoffs.

POPE JOHN PAUL II 44, UPPER MERION 17 >> Amelia Kennedy collected a doubledoub­le to lead the Golden Panthers (7-2 Frontier, 8-6 PAC, 10-10 overall) in Thursday’s PAC Frontier Division victory over the Vikings.

Kennedy hit for 15 points and cleared 10 rebounds. Mary Kate Shannon was the game’s scoring leader with 17 points, and Tess Crossan cleared 12 rebounds while making six steals as the PJP defense limited UM (516) to a pair of first-quarter points and shut the home team out in the fourth. METHACTON 70, OWEN J. ROBERTS 17 >> Jeff Woodward reached a personal milestone Thursday while helping the Warriors roll over the Wildcats in Pioneer Athletic Conference Liberty Division action.

Woodward surpassed the 1,000-rebound mark in the first half, complement­ing his 10-point game. Erik Timko was the game’s runaway scoring star with 30 points (his fourth straight game with 20-or-more) as Methacton completed a 10-0 run through the division, a 16-0 mark in the league and 20-1 record for the season.

METHACTON 95, PERKIOMEN VALLEY 90 >> The double-win outings of Dylan Alexander and Jacob Replogle weren’t enough to lift the Vikings over the Warriors in Thursday’s PAC meet.

Alexander took the 200 free (1:49.73) and 500 free (5:02.17) while Replogle headed the 200 IM (2:01.44) and 100 back (54.95). Methacton got individual firsts from Tommy Gibbs in the 100 free (50.29) and Dylan Pham in the 100 breast (1:07.47) to go along with firsts in the 200 medley (1:45.23) and 200 free relays (1:31.21).

Palubinski took the 100 free (1:00.22) while swimming legs of PV’s firstplace 200 medley (2:00.62) and 400 free relay (4:06.42). Alex Ferrance scored a pair of firsts for Methacton in the 200 free (2:06.65) and 100 fly (1:03.51).
