Stover heats up for Cardinals

Boys Basketball

Drew Stover poured in 31 points, while Colin O’Sullivan added 11 points for the Cardinals on Friday night. Jack Gordon paced the Panthers with 15 points. Upper Dublin (3-0) will take on Plymouth Whitemarsh on Tuesday night.

The Indians fell behind 19-8 after one quarter and never recovered on Friday night. Evan Kutzler led Souderton with 13 points.

Joe Jackman led CB East with 16 points.

Kevin Green and Jaden Workman each scored 14 points as the Golden Panthers won big on Friday night. Luke McCarthy added 13 for PJP II.

Girls Basketball

Jordan Zimmerman scored 7 points, but the Indians had trouble getting on track Friday night. Teya McConnaha added 6 points and 10 rebounds for Souderton.

Dayna Balasa scored 23 points, including seven 3-pointers as the Cardinals won big on Friday night. Alice Hall also scored 23 points for the Hatters.

Senior Center Jocelyn Pfleiger scored 14 points, leading Dock in the win against Christian Academy on Friday. Junior guard Melissa Moyer added 10 points adding 2 threes in the fourth quarter at crunch time. Freshman point guard Erin Miles added 4 points in the win.

Playing a well balanced Sacred Heart team, Dock struggled from the start on Thursday night. Kenzie Derstine led Dock with 5 points. As the game continued into the second half, Dock tightened up defensivel­y but continued to struggle on offense.

Emmy Faith Wood and Holly Gohl each scored 15 points as Upper Moreland won big on Saturday.
