Sarah R. Neve

Sarah R. Neve, 98, of Lafayette Hill, died on January 24, 2021 at Brandywine Senior Living at Upper Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late James J. Neve. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA on January 27, 1922 to the late Giacomo and Josephine (Polsinelli) Rio. She attended Conshohocken schools. Sarah was employed as a Seamstress at the Philadelphia Progressive Coat and Apron Co., Lee’s Mill and Suskind’s in Conshohocken. She was also a loving homemaker. Sarah was a devoted member of St. Philip Neri Church where she was a member of the Philippians Seniors. She was an avid bowler, enjoyed playing cards with her friends, trips to the casino, and spending time in Avalon, NJ with family.

She is survived by 3 children James K. Neve and wife Cathy of Lower Gwynedd, Joseph A. Neve of Lafayette Hill, Maria A. Noon and husband Thomas of Royersford, 9 grandchildren James J. Neve II, Carla Durand, Tara Kieffer, Joseph A. Neve Jr., Jonathan J. Neve, Danielle Neve, Sarah E. Raible, Ryan T. Noon, Emily A. Noon, 14 great-grandchildren, a brother Louis Rio of Conshohocken, and many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by siblings Ralph, Dominic, Peter, Rudolph Rio, Ann Fazio, Columbia “Connie” Yanessa.

Due to concerns from the ongoing pandemic and to keep everyone safe, the Viewing and Funeral Mass will be held privately. Everyone is welcome to view the Mass virtually on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 12:30 p.m. that will be live streamed on the Ciavarelli Family Funeral Home Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/Ciavarelli-FamilyFuneral-Homes-199303480175761/. There will be a private family interment at Calvary Cemetery following the Mass.
