Pennridge rallies past North Penn in 5 sets

PENNRIDGE 3, NORTH PENN 0>> The Rams avenged an earlier-season loss, winning 25-23, 25-12, 25-19 on Thursday night over the Knights.

Riley Kodidek had 26 assists and five digs for the Rams (12-2).

Ryan Benscoter (22 kills, three aces), Tyler Johnson (six kills, two blocks), Bryce Muller (three kills, three aces), Thomas McKinney (three kills, four digs), Skyler Ammon (three aces), Dan Detweiler (seven digs) and Alex Derk (two aces) all chipped in for Pennridge in the victory.

HAVERFORD 3, SOUDERTON 2>> Aidan Wunderly had 15 kills and Tate Kreiser added 28 digs but the Indians fell short on Friday.

SOUDERTON 10, COATESVILL­E 7 >> The Indians rallied from a 4-1 halftime deficit and picked up the nonconfere­nce win on Friday behind five goals from Lauren Hallman. Reiley Knize added three goals and one assist, while Ang Borisow and Lexi Krebs also tallied goals for Souderton. Courtney Mallon and Tegan Farina each had five saves in goal for the Big Red.

BOYERTOWN 19, NORRISTOWN 0 >> The Bears displayed the ultimate in offensive balance, each one of their goals in Friday’s PAC Liberty Division game with the Eagles scored by a different player. One of the scorers, Alyssa Taylor, was credited with three assists while two others, Emma Beidler and Delaney Fox, had two.

UPPER MERION 15, UPPER PERKIOMEN 5 >> Cat Merritt continued her torrid scoring pace Friday in the Vikings’ PAC Frontier Division game with the Indians. Merritt scored a game-high six goals and assisted on three others. Teammate Julianna Callison followed with five of her own. POTTSGROVE 23, POPE JOHN PAUL II 10 >> Sydney Wasdick went over the 100-goal mark Friday while the Falcons rolled over the Golden Panthers in PAC Frontier Division action. Wasdick reached triple digits with the fifth of her eight goals on the night. Kallan Bustynowic­z was PJP’s leader with six goals.

CONWELL-EGAN 6, WOOD 5 >> Nick Citrigno scored two goals, while Dan Divita, Dan Romano and Aiden McCarthy also tallied goals for the Vikings on Friday. SPRING-FORD 9, METHACTON 5>> Getting off to a 4-1 lead Friday, the Rams outlasted the Warriors to win Friday’s PAC Liberty Division game. Christian Marchini netted a hat trick to secure game scoring honors for SpringFord. Justin Sanelli and Mike Merola each scored two goals to head Methacton.

DOCK 12, MORRISVILL­E 0 >> Maggie Dowell did it all today, allowing Morrisvill­e only 2 hits with 6 strikeouts over the 5 innings needed. She also banged out 3 hits, scoring 2 runs. Katherine Kardos had 3 hits and Erin Miles had 2 hits and scored 3 runs.

SPRING-FORD 3, METHACTON 1>> A three-run fifth gave the Rams all the offense they needed to outlast the Warriors in Friday’s PAC Liberty Division rematch. Ellie Jarrell doubled and drove in two runs to head Spring-Ford. Jules Scogna took advantage of the run production as she scattered five hits and one walk while fanning nine.

PHOENIXVIL­LE 15, UPPER MERION 5 >> Chloe Johns celebrated the Phantoms’ Senior Night by hefting the big bat in Friday’s PAC Frontier Division romp over the Vikings. Johns, honored alongside teammates Aubrie Breisblatt, Courtney Gable,

Haden Perrons, Emma Dempsey and Kendall Brown, drove in three runs off 4-for-4 hitting. Dempsey added a 3-for-3, and Gable wemt 2-for-2 with a home run to back her winning mound work in relief of Kendall Brown.

SPRING-FORD 9, METHACTON 0 >> Jack Kisela had a two-hit complete game while his Ram teammates banged out 11 hits on the way to Friday’s PAC Liberty Division shutout of the Warriors. Kisela yielded just two walks against his 10 strikeouts. At the plate, Dylan Ducharme (3-for4) and Billy Bean (2-for-3, home run, two RBI) led the way for Spring-Ford. PHOENIXVIL­LE 7, UPPER MERION 2 >> Drew Kingsbury threw three-hit ball for five innings Friday, and the Phantoms rebounded from the Vikings’ early scoring to win this PAC Frontier Division matchup. Kingsbury gave up just one walk against eight strikeouts before giving way to Phoenixvil­le’s relief corps. Mike Memmo and J.J. Allen each chipped in with two hits for the Phantoms.
